I am having the same problem with Fedorea core 3. Runs fine until map change time the poof!

I am running on a 2.8 gig AMD 512 meg of ram on a SATA 80 gig.
I have a mail server and 4 web pages on this machine.. No big deal and runs like a clock!
Any ideas??
