Crash when Loading srcds with gmod9 on ubuntu

Hello there.
Yesterday i set up my linux srcds on ubuntu 6.06 and i am able to start a hl2dm server but when i try it with gmod9 it says the following in console:

Executing dedicated server config file
Setting MPRules from console variables..
*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0xb7dae000 ***
./srcds_run: line 344: 7110 Aborted $HL_CMD

Can anyone tell me why it works with hl2dm but not with gmod?

wasn't there an srcds update recently? maybe it broke gmod, all i can suggest right now is make sure gmod is the latest, see if there are releases since after the latest update.
