Runtime error, yet again!
#1
No matter what I do my server crashes with the:
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\srcds\srcds.exe
R6025
-pure virtual function call

Today I even reformatted my xp partition and put a fresh install of srcds and ran it without plugin's and got the error after joing the server.

I'm using this to launch with srcdsfpsboost.exe running in the background:
Code:
C:\srcds\srcds.exe -game dod -tickrate 100 -autoupdate

here's my server.cfg
Code:
hostname ":)hello:) ready to eff you up"

sv_password ""
sv_spectator_password ""
rcon_password "h3110"

mp_friendlyfire 1
mp_timelimit 30
sv_cheats 0
sv_region 0

sv_minrate 5000
sv_maxrate 20000
sv_minupdaterate 20
sv_maxupdaterate 100
fps_max 600

sv_rcon_minfailures 2
sv_rcon_maxfailures 3
sv_rcon_banpenalty 0
sv_rcon_minfailuretime 30

sv_logbans 1
sv_region 0
sv_lan 0

mapcyclefile "mapcycle.txt"

load ban files
exec listip.cfg
exec banned.cfg

BUMB + new error

well i got the runtime error to stop but it was replaced with this one:

"SV_PackEntity: SnagChangeFrameList returned null"

this is with no plugin's and a 15 minutes old install of srcds

EDIT::
it's back to the original crash error

alright, well first of all.. take out -autoupdate... it doesn't do anything but mess stuff up on windows servers.

If your trying to start it by cmd line your gonna need more things then that in there.. you need like -maxplayers and -map otherwise it doesn't know what map to start on, or how many player slots to have. Try that.

either way.. you need to take out -autoupdate on windows boxes. Give that a try and see if you get the same error.

and you may have to specify the lan ip on the server. some mobos will read as having more then one netword adapter, one ip being 169.. and the other 192... or something else. Either way you would want to use "-ip <NOT 169.. ip>". If that was the case. I don't see that too often though, if you go to the cmd line and type in ipconfig that will tell you your lan ip, and try to specify that in the cmd line, and it should work.

thanks for helping but still no luck...crash in GUI,"SV_PackEntity: SnagChangeFrameList returned null" and in command mode it cant get into the server with either LAN IP or ISP IP. i have my server set to a static IP.
