srcds.exe - Application Error

The Instruction at "0x00ea2723" referenced memory at "0x13b100b4". The memory could not be "read" Click on OK to terminate the program.

After a few more tries :

"0x00ea2723" referenced memory at "0x121100c0"

"0x00ea2723" referenced memory at "0x11b100c0"

"0x00ea2723" referenced memory at "0x121100c0"

And a few more simular errors came up.

The error started when the new CS:S update came... (Yes, I'm running a CS:S server) I updated the server and then the errors came up. If anyone has a solution, please let me hear it... Sad I have no clue what to do because of the different errors...

Well a lot of my clients servers went down. Check your Mani, Eventscript Tools, or anything that applies. We fixed a few to bring it back online, even though it was not part of our support, but the solution is there Smile

I just got the updated mani gametypes.txt file.. it still came up an error..

When you say " Eventscript Tools ", (sorry I'm a newb at srcds, except for running it ;P), where is this located in the dir.?

Anything I absolutly must check for the server? =| Before the update, the server was just fine... =[

Anyways, thanks for the reply! =D

Eventscript Tools is another third party mod. It might be other third party mods messing it up, or possibly custom maps. So please check all your third party mods and maps, disable them and see what happens Smile

i think its the "beta" version of mani causing problems. I had the same thing happen with my server, but when i put the previous version of mani on, it didn't crash.

Mmm, I don't think I have Eventscript Tools =P

Ehh would you guys say the problem is the new CS:S update? Since none of the srcds crashes occured before then..

Anymore advice? Toungue Thanks for all your help guys =D

EDIT : Just to say, the server crashes BEFORE it actually gets functioning... Meaning that the server gets a error when the console runs... then all this weird stuff appears in the console.

This is a rare error that I have gotten running certain plugins and server mixes. There is a WIDE gray area as the what causes it. Valves points to hardware issues, while some coders actually say its a due to messy code. If you are running any plugins, I would comment them out of your config file(s) and rename the addons folder. If this doesn't help get it running at all, if you can physically touch the machine, I would update firmware on the drives (where applicable) and controller(s) (w/a). This error also seems to have caught the eye of Microsoft and is not just limited to HL servers. I actually can't believe someone else has gotten this error on a normal basis. Feel free to email me if you want, and let me know if you find anything else out about the issue or find a solution.

Ah. I found out the reason why it was crashing... Mani didn't work, and they just made a binary patch for it, so everything is working out fine!

I thank you guys for all the help you gave me... Until my next problem... ;P
