What should I get my wife for her anniversary?
#1
I just realized I haven’t bought my wife a really good gift in a long time, and now our anniversary is coming up, so I can’t get away with flowers and dinner again. She never asks for anything expensive, which somehow makes choosing harder because I’ve got no useful hints to work with. I want to get her something she’ll actually be excited about and keep for years, but my mind is completely blank. What would you pick for a wife when the occasion deserves something better than the usual gifts?

I’d think about something tied to her interests first, because that gives you a better chance of landing on something she wouldn’t normally buy for herself. A nice leather bag, a designer perfume she’s mentioned before, or even a weekend at a hotel she’s wanted to visit could work depending on what she’s into. The gift doesn’t have to be complicated, it just needs to feel like you actually thought about her when you picked it.

For an anniversary, jewelry is hard to beat because it feels personal and she can keep wearing it long after the date itself. Earrings are a pretty safe choice too, since you don’t have to guess a ring size and there are plenty of styles that work for both everyday wear and nicer occasions. You can look at some stone earrings here: https://pierrejewellery.com/katalog/earrings/hoop-earrings/diamond-small-hoop-earrings . Small diamond hoops are easy to pair with almost anything and still feel like a proper anniversary gift. You can also use that style as a starting point and compare a few similar pieces before deciding.
