I am planning a new patio deck behind my house and I am currently researching different types of composite decking material. Wood used to be my first choice, but after dealing with warping boards and constant sealing on my previous deck I decided to look into composite decking material instead.
One thing I am trying to understand is how different brands compare when it comes to durability and appearance. Some composite decking material looks very plastic while others seem to have a much more natural wood texture. I would prefer something that looks realistic but still offers the long term benefits that composite decking material is known for.
During my search I came across Evodek and it caught my attention because the boards seem to focus on weather resistance and low maintenance. The idea of installing composite decking material that does not require sanding or staining every year sounds very appealing to me.
I am also wondering where most people buy composite decking material. Do you usually purchase from big home improvement stores or from specialized decking suppliers that carry brands like Evodek? I am trying to compare pricing and availability before making a final decision.
Another thing I am curious about is longevity. For those who already installed Evodek composite decking material, how has it held up after several seasons of sun, rain, and general outdoor use? I would really like to hear real experiences before I commit to buying a large amount of composite decking material.
