I’ve been reading a lot lately about how easy it is for AI-driven bots to scrape social media and create thousands of fake profiles. It’s a huge problem that most people ignore until it’s too late.
One habit I’ve picked up is doing a monthly check on where my photos are actually indexed. I realized that just Googling my name doesn't show the full picture. I’ve started image exposure tracking through specialized monitoring tools. It’s eye-opening to see how images from years ago can still resurface in places you’d never expect.
To me, this is just as important as checking your credit score or changing your passwords. It gives you a chance to see if your face is being used in unauthorized ads or by scammers before it causes real damage to your reputation.
Does anyone else include image auditing in their digital security routine? Or do you feel that once a photo is online, it’s just a lost cause?
