Switching strokes on the fly
#1
I saw the new Pro version of the Avenger and the colors look amazing. But apart from the look, is the functional upgrade worth it? I am interested in the stroke adjustment. Is it easy to change during a tattoo? I hate having to stop and use a screwdriver or change cams when I am in the zone. How does it work in practice?

The colors are definitely cool, I have the Seafoam Dream one, but the functionality is where it shines. The biggest selling point of the avenger 3 is definitely the MultiStroke mode switching. You literally do not need any tools. You can switch between lining and shading modes in seconds while you are working. It saves so much time. In the past, I would have two machines set up, one for lines and one for shading. Now I just use this one machine for the whole piece. It keeps your station cleaner and your workflow smoother. The mechanism feels very solid, it clicks into place and doesn't slip. If you are a versatile artist who does different styles in one session, this feature alone makes the upgrade worth the money.
