What’s Your Go To Halloween Costume Idea This Year

Every year I see people come up with incredibly creative Halloween costumes some funny some scary and others just downright impressive. I’m curious what everyone is planning for this Halloween.

Are you going with something classic like a vampire or witch or something pop culture inspired from a recent show or movie? Do you prefer DIY costumes or buying them ready made? I’m still deciding what to wear and could use some inspiration.

What’s been your best or most memorable costume so far and what made it stand out?

Last year I went as a 1920s detective complete with a trench coat fake pipe and a little notepad for case notes. It was a simple DIY costume but turned out surprisingly good and people really liked the old school vibe. When it comes to Halloween Costumes I’m leaning toward something pop culture inspired maybe a character from a recent TV series or movie that’s easy to recognize but not overdone. I usually prefer making my own costumes because it adds a personal touch and feels more rewarding. My best costume stood out because it looked authentic without spending much money.
