256 mb of ram is too low. Try it with 512 mb. 512 will work on a clean windows intall. p4 or Athlon XP or higher will do fine.

Dude do you even know how much ram windows takes up just to run. Obviously you dont. You need to lay off thinkin you know so much because from your posts people can tell how much you really know. Your not god and you dont know it all. I am in no way saying i know everything and always give out correct information becuase I dont. But damn dude take yourself off that pedostal. As much time as you spend here I think youd know a lil more. You should also change ur name back to khjb007. I think we all remember him.

Optimizing windows is not going to help running processes in the background. Callin me a teenager,LAWL. If you ran a real GSP you would know 256 mb isnt enuff. Im done with this flamewar tho.

256mb is enough to run windows xp with its essential processes... and the person who started this thread only wanted to run one server with 18 slots...

Windows alone (optimized) will take around 256 ram. The gameserver will take up to 250 mb of ram (if it's stable and doesn't crash for several days). Gameserver will start with around 100 mb of ram (depending of the mods used) and growing up. Same with windows: after long uptime the computer will allways use more ram than after a fresh restart.
So again: 512 mb ram, P4 or Athlon XP will run your 18 slots.
@Ex: why allways the nasty words? Do you see anybody else using bad words against you? You really need to grow up dude.

Ex: learn what a forums is meant for. Tip: it's meant to get your point by arguments, not flames.
