Using All CPU With Linux

Hello
I have been trying to get my servers to run off linux for the past few weeks. But every Linux os Put in it ends up to use 100 percent of the cpu.
We have a custom rack mounts.
The Specs of the one that we are trying to figure it on is...
P4 3.0 prescot
2 gigs of 512 DDR2 667 ram
SUSA mother board SLI delux
80 Gig hard drive
We are using the 10.1 SUSE linux Program

The last servers that we had before we upgraded were
p4 2.8 with 333mhz ram "1 gig" and ran on windows well we could have 2 apps of the game going on each server and a couple sites with no lagg on the servers.The srcds would not run off our amd servers but when i was looking in the files of the linux it said amd. So I reupdated the amds and they run awsome !!!!!! They are running windows I really want to go to linux but the windows has been seeming better and better.. I know that this game was made from linux and thats why i want to use linux but why I am I having this prob??????????

a few questions:

how many slots, what mods, server.cfg specifically rates blah blah...

Hi,
I set up 2 different ones which I do not have running at the same time. I just wanted to see if things would be different. The first one has mani-admin, matties eventscripts and the ga-rates mods in it. I have the rates set between min-cmdrate 30, max 80. regular rates 7500/20000. It can only hold 10 people on 22 slot, anything above that is 100%. No bots.

The second one I set up is the same except that I decided to see what would happen with ZombieHorde in there too. Same size room, 22. 16 bots and 6 people. I guessed that running a zombie server would use more cpu, but it is the same.

I know that the line is just fine because I am only touching about 1/4 of it at the most. I have messed with the rates and these numbers seem to work for good pings.

it is at a 33 tick i would like to put it a 66 tick but wont work
