I’d add two things that helped me when looking for a good plumber for my own remodel: First, ask whether they’ve handled similar bathroom layouts or fixture types before—there’s a big difference, for example, between rough-in plumbing versus full re-pipe or moving fixtures.
Second, see if they offer a project warranty or post-job checklist. I had a plumber who proactively followed up a week after our bathroom work, walked through everything with me, and addressed a small leak—no charge. That kind of after-care really speaks to their professionalism.
Lastly, it can be helpful to ask if they provide a
construction cost estimate up front—knowing the breakdown of expenses, from materials to labor, helps avoid surprises later down the road.
