ok i know alot of people ask this but i need to know the best numbers top ut in these? first my specs are: my pc is 1GB ram AMD 3800+ dual core 250GB hdd but yeah its a good computer my internet is 1.5mb/256k
i know its not that fast the upload anyways but i can run a slot server really good i just want to know the best numbers for these

WOOO damn u definetly need to change that with only 256k upload. Thats like 6 players MAX.

sv_minrate 3000
sv_minupdaterate - watever ur ticrate is
sv_maxupdaterate - wetever ur ticrate is

those arent perfect, just a roundabout. im sure someone will post better ones for ya.

increase sv_maxrate to 8000
decrease sv_minupdaterate to 10 or higher

sv_minupdaterate doesn't have to match your tickrate. lower value for sv_minupdaterate can reduce lag for some players. if you increase sv_minrate to 5000, you will prevent most phone modem users from playing on your server.
