srcds.exe not working

hey all i need help..i clik on srcds.exe and it dosnt do anything..evin when i go to start/run and type in c:/srcds/srcds.exe it dosnt work..i can run it in cmd but i dont wana..plz help if ya can

Did you even read the instructions in "YOUR OS" click off the main page?
You cant click and expect it to run.

lol dude did u read my last post..i can clik srcds.exe but it just dosnt open anything only any i can do it is run my sever in cmd.. i wana use the steam sever skin

then you don't want the dedicated server, sounds like you want to run a listen server, that you run when you start counter strike with the icon. srcds is only run in a command window.

It sounds like you want to run the GUI version. You have to install Source Dedicated Server from steam. If you start STEAM, goto the Tools section, and it should be there, click it and install it.
