Have the same problem as KatPhish.
I have tried to fix this the regular way with +maxplayers 20 in the command line and in server.cfg (only in one of them at the same time.) Ended up with putting it in the commandline, but still 16 players.
Has anyone got a workaround?

I host 2 CS Source server, well only one for now, you cant see the other because valve have screwed up the ip port control.
My servers are both 40 player, message me if you want details on how to correct.

I dont think this is a problem in Cs:s, its hl2mp thats screwed.

HL2DM is locked at 16. I have not been able to find a way around it BUT I have not spent much time trying. The reason is that before it was locked at 16 I had major problems running a HL2DM server with more than 20. i lagged horribly. I can run a CSS server at 32 on same machine and have a full server without problems but not a HL2DM.

I thougt the srcds server was locked at 36 players for the windows ver. or summit. I read it in one of the steam forums.
Anyway, I have no problems with running several servers at the same box.

This ip port control issue you talk about.. How have you tryed to solve this?

I manage this in the command line with the string -port 27036
Code:
C:\sourcedm\srcds.exe -console -game hl2mp -secure +ip 192.168.168.10 -port 27036 +maxplayers 20 +map dm_lockdown -autoupdate
This works on all my servers but with different port. Only the dm server that won't allow the maxplayers 20...

I currently run 4 servers at the same box 2xHL1 (HLDS) and 2xHL2 (srcds). But the one srcds with HL2dm won't allow more than 16 players, the other one is set to 20 players.

Shameless bump...

Has anyone found a way around this yet?

I see a few servers that have greater than 16 players, but I can't figure out what to do Sad

i change mine all the time, but remember you must change it in both locations, at the command line in the srcds.exe properties and the srcds.bat

I've tried changing it in several places and HL2-DM still goes back to 16.

If i can find it again I'll post a snapshot of it.
