hey i need help setting up my server again... ive allready had one css server running but now im gonna run one on this computer. i got a new linksys router and i need to know what ports to open and how..plz help

Well the only port you really need is 27015, tcp and udp. Go to portforward.com to learn how to forward them, or google it.

[UDP] 1200 (used for Steam's Friends service)
[UDP] 27000 to 27015 (so that means all ports in between too)
[TCP] 27030 to 27039 (idem)
=> these are all Steam related ports

[UDP] 27015 and 27020 (default DS port, also used for HLTV)
[TCP] 27015 (you want to forward this for RCON access)
=> these ports are used by the dedicated server itself

That will do the trick

Toungue you said it yourself that them first set of ports are for steam Big Grin. and the last are for srcds, although 27020 is for hltv, so unless you use hltv you shouldn't need it.
