[RESOLVED] srcds.exe - Entry Point Not Found
#1
It was one fine day... Or so i thought.

Well I updated the files of tf2 (app_update 232250) and when I start srcds.exe this error came right up my face:

The procedure entry point CommandLine could not be located in the dynamic link library (directory)\metamod\bin\metamod.2.csgo.dll

I dismissed the errors and went on my server. Metamod did not load and thus the mods did not load.

I went to the directory and found this metamod-fatal .txt file. I guess it was a error log file and took a look. This is the error I got:

L 09/11/2015 - 13:35:56: Detected engine 11 but could not load: The specified procedure could not be found.

Tried reinstalling Metamod, did not work. Any kind souls here that can help me? Thank you Smile

Server specs:
Intel core pentium E6600
Ram: 6GB
Internet speed: 100mbps up and down
OS: Windows 10 Preview Edition
Mods: Sourcemod and Metamod

EDIT: I've found a TEMPORARY fix for this issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/tf2/comments/3khz2h/new_tf2_update_has_broken_metamod_fix/

Just download the 942 meta snapshot from here: http://www.metamodsource.net/snapshots
Just choose your os and download the snapshot, drag the addons folder into your /tf directory
Apparently this fixes the issue as the new update broke metamod.

Known issues at 942 meta (figured out so far):
mapchooser.smx is picking random maps even if selected manually
chatpocessor is not working

I have also noted that the custom chat colors on all my 5 servers does not work, probably because of the chatpocessor not working ^

Bump. Someone please reply. I have made a test server and installed metamod and sourcemod, and it also did not work. Does that mean metamod/sourcemod does not work with the latest version of tf2?

I successfully got metamod to load. The solution can be found on my post ^

Thanks, not sure why I didn't get an email about this.
