Garrysmod server takes 80% cpu. dedicated.

400 GB Disk storage
4 GB RAM
4×3.4 Ghz CPU Cores
500 Mbit/s(guaranteed) – 1 Gbit/s 8 TB Traffic
Linux Based(centos 6.4 64bits)

And garrysmod server just have tone of lags.
I tried to set this server commands at the server cfg

I have the same problem, 80-100$ cpu uses.
Any help ??

Hi,

Garry's mod use a lot of cpu. It's depending of summoned items. An empty server will use nothing (1-5% cpu) but if you summon many hundred of items, it's easily reach 100% of cpu use. You can only limit it with gamemode summon settings.

I had CPU with two cores the server was on 80-100% cpu usage, I upgraded the CPU to 4 cores and its 80-100% cpu usage...
I may need to upgrade it to 6 cores ?

Something is throttling your cpu. It could be a loop, hook(think/tick), or a module.
