Uncompress command

Hey there everyone. I rent a server at serverbeach and I want to install srcds on the server. Does anyone know how I can install the compress and uncompress commands into the server? I've looked for rpms, tarballs, etc. Any help would be great thanks!

I'm on fedora core 2, and I used:

# yum install ncompress

ln -s /usr/bin/gunzip /usr/bin/uncompress

That should fix it
-Edit- BPM's solution works too but this is easier, just a symbolic link

Ok but i am new to linux how do i install PLZ

EDIT: The server system i use (hostmonster) dose not allow the uncompress command is there any other way to open a bin file and FTP the files need to my server
