Using custom defined ports and still showing up.

Is there any way that I can use 2 different ports for 2 different servers that I custom define. I liked to use 27015 and 27035, because I heard that your supposed to take at least 20 ports in between for each server. Is this true and does it matter? Also, why can't I custom define ports and keep the server on the list? When I set -port 27035 in my command line, it won't show up on the master server list. Thanks in advance. Also these are LAN servers.

27015-27020 is the limit.

Interesting, even if I manually assign the port to 27016, it still won't show up in the master server list. It only shows in the master server list when the port is automatically assigned. Also, sorry for not reading, I have edited my first post to meet that format.
