What's the command to prevent level transition?
#1
What is the command to prevent the map from changing, for example, when you drive through a tunnel, and near the end, you transition to the next level? I've been searching, and found some stuff on how it happens, but have not found the command, or variable to put in my server.cfg to prevent it.
Thanks!

mp_timelimit 0
mp_maxrounds 0
mp_winlimit 0

put that in ur Server.cfg and the map will not change unless u change it or the players start a mapvote.

Thanks, but that isn't it. I tried it, the level still changes if I get in a dune buggy and drive through the tunnel. There is a command out there, I'm pretty sure I read it somewhere but didn't jot it down.
Basically, when a player passes through an area that was defined as a trigger_changelevel, the map changes to the next, even if you have no time limit or number of rounds defined in the server.cfg.
If anyone else has any info, please post. Thanks.

I dont know how that works, but try finding the file that says that for that specific map. Maybe a .cfg file or something. Try deleting that part about trigger_changelevel.

Thanks, punch, but each map has a trigger_changelevel that is connected to two info_landmarks, which are gonna be different on each map. The command or server variable i'm looking for is a separate thing altogether, that prevents any map change caused by any trigger.

Ok, got it! I also posted at the valve collective, and a guy pointed me to this utility, called entspy. It is at:

And I edited the trigger_changelevel entity, just blanked out the values for it, and it worked. Thanks again for all your suggestions, guys Smile

Good for you!Toungue

I thought it might have been a checkpoint in hammer, but I guess I was wrong.
