Problem Creating Server! :(

Hey ppl, i have downloaded all the needed files to run the server, but when i try to run srcds.exe nothing happens :| and i noticed that once executed the process loads then immediatly quits in task manager, what could this problem be?

your problem is that won't work
 lol. create a shortcut to srcds.exe like on your desktop, right click it and click properties. then specify -game gamename at the very end of the target, so for hl2mp it would be -game hl2mp for css it would be cstrike and dod:s its dod. double click that and it should start the server in gui mode.
