VAC not working
#1
Exclamation
Hi, excuse my english I am from Brazil.

My ISP has several Source servers running in my Data Center.
CSS, DOD S, HL2DM, CS 1.6, DOD and the list goes on and on...

My problem is: The majority of the servers are VAC secure, but we have some servers where VAC just deny to RUN.

We tried everything... nothing...

I sent an e-mail to Valve Support and they said to come here and try to get some help.

Specifically my DOD S server, he is running along with other 4 CSS servers (in the same machine).

All of the other servers run VAC secure, but the DOD Source server doesn´t...

I tried giving VAC a specific port to connect to it´s main server, but still it gives me the "unable to contact server" thing...

I don´t know what else I can do...

Thanks for any help.

Screen Shot of your console if you can?

Have you tried to contact HLDS mailing thread? Also do you have any extra plugins running on the server at all? Such as Admin Mods, Game Play mods, etc...

No I cant =/
But I can ask one of the support guys that work in the Data Center.
Basicaly the message is saying that VAC was unable to contact a server.

HLDS mailing list ? No, just Valve Support.
Extra plugin: Mani Admin. All Source servers.

Thats it...

All server have the same configuration nothing out of the usuall.

I had this problem with my CS:S server once a few updates ago. It all of the sudden became unsecure even though it was set to secure. The only thing that fixed it was running the HLDSupdate tool again. Not sure if that's the same problem you're having, but I would give it a shot if you've run out of options.
