witch cpu ? For cs:s host

I just wonder that the Intel Xeon Processor X5650 12M Cache, 2.66 GHz, is good enough to hold up a few cs:s servers with serveral plugins. Or should i go for Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1240V2 Quad Core, 3.4GHz. I know the xeon X5650 have better performance, but it also has a lower clock speed then the E3-1240V2. So i just wonder witch cpu you prefer for hosting cs:s servers.

I've played quite a bit on HoluDuFF's game-servers, and I must say, that his abnormal server-setup which mostly reminds me of a gaming PC does a pretty good job!
I've been planning to buy stuff for an i7 2700k server for a long time, and after watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxvSyTsWrtk&list=UUcoys03HSsDY7fExyhZF0PQ&index=6
Im pretty convinced that It will not be a bad idea.

But if I had to choose between the two you asked for, I'd choose the E3 due to the highter clock frequency.
