Re locating SRCDS to a new fodler or HDD

hi do you think its possible to zip up the source dedicated servers directory and copy it to another server with out issue?

I mean the internal IP and external IP and port (startup .bat) can be edited of course once i do this to adjust, but in general i was wondering if the above works.
