Stuck Getting version 49 of Steam HLDS Update Tool

Hi All

ubuntu:~/srcds$ ./steam
Checking bootstrapper version ...
Getting version 49 of Steam HLDS Update Tool

i got stuck here for a hour, just nothing happen...have another sever stetted up few days ago under same network, no problem


any idea ?

Try deleting the ClientRegistry.blob and rerun the updater tool.

There is no ClientRegistry.blob... have try reinstall the OS, still cannot

looks like when i run ./steam Steam does not download clientregistry.blob

i dont think this is an isolated problem. anyone face this problem when try to setup a fresh new server ?
