I have yet another problem with Steam, and launching it. OK, so, it was working fine a couple days ago and i didn't even mess with it or anything like a 2 days ago. Today, when i tried to launch it, an error showed up, saying "Failed to load SteamUI localization file." What is that all about? I want to know how to fix this so I can finally play because it was working fine a couple days ago.

Nevermind guys, I figured it out. To all the people who in the future will be searching for this topic, this is how I fixed it, at least. Ok, so all I did, was go to my C: drive, went to Program Files (x86), my Steam folder, then I went to SteamUI.dll and clicked it. Then all i did was uncheck the format "Word wrap", and it worked. The minute after I did that, I clicked on the Steam Shortcut Icon for my desktop and it said something like "Updating all files" or "Downloading all files." I don't know exactly, but all I do know is that, It worked for me, and I hope it works for you too!!! Big Grin

I appreciate you following up to your original post, but honestly I have to ask this. I know this will probably sound like I'm being a dick, but at the risk of seeming that way, I'm gonna ask anyway. Please don't be offended, What I have to say is not meant to offend you or anyone else.

Why was this Steam client question posted on the SRCDS website in the first place? That's what the Steam forums are for. So many people here are posting inappropriate things that the site is cluttered with stuff that often gets in the way of helping people who are asking for legitimate help for SRCDS related topics.

In the future, I'm sure we will all be grateful if you keep your posts limited to SRCDS specific topics.

Many thanks and take care.
