I use srcds to create my half life 2 DM server on basic maps !
If i use changelevel command or we use RTV
Server is changing level, but it freezes and you have to hit cancel, and rejoin the server !
It dose change the map, but ingame you have to rejoin, why is it doing this ?!
No errors in srcds cmd, im running windows 7 and now, no plugins are installed only source mod with metamod source
my startup: C:\srcds\orangebox\srcds.exe -console -game hl2mp +map dm_overwatch -maxplayers 20 -autoupdate

Try the following:
1. Add an RCON password to the server, you currently have none according to your server.cfg. Test it after tou restart it.
2. Disable SourceMod. Restart and test it using RCON.
3. Disable Metamod. Restart and test it using RCON.
If it's SourceMod or Metamod is the issue, update the one that is causing your problem to the latest version. There have been numerous bug fixes for SourceMod during the past week that address issues similar to yours.

I have
latest metamod Released in Jun 24, 2011 ...
Metamod:Source 1.8.7
and
sourcemod-1.4.4-windows.zip
...
:S
but now i removed them and without any server plugin changelevel dose the same thing, its just gets stucked at server is changing level

I'd re-run the hldsupdatetool on it and see if it corrects it. As I understand it, you're saying that a default server is doing this which is totally bizzare...

I completely unintalled srcds and reisntaled it to the same location, to my root C drive in a srcds folder. re downlaoded hl2mp with hldsupdatetool -command update -game hl2mp -dir C:\srcds -retry -verify_all
and i have the same problem, ill try to reisntal my windows7 asap

After doing more research via Google for your problem, it appears many other people are having the same problem, and not just with HL2DM, but CSS as well.

It seems to have reared it's ugly head with the latest updates to the game. I doubt there's much I can do to help you with it if it's a game bug, but I'll check everything out if you'd like.

I reinstalled my windows 7 32bit
reistalled hldsupdatetool and now i tried to make a The Ship dedicated server and i have the same mapchange but , so its not juts in hl2dm !

Are you trying to play these games and host the servers on the same system or are you creating a server on a different system than you're playing on?

Yes I play from the host PC but now i tried that i am not in game from host PC and joined from a laptop and tried to changelevel and Server is changing level is frozen on the laptop screenscreen
as I said its a problem in any source game now i tried it with The Ship and stragne thing happaned while I was writing this post...it started to send client info but it was loading for like 5mins ... what could cause this?
