What's The Correct Folder Name For CSS?

I'd like a little explaination about CSS folder names. Before Orangebox my CSS server's plug-in files were located in: srcds_l/cstrike/addons. After Orangebox, they are here: srcds_l/orangebox/cstrike/addons. A few months ago a update changed the name of my orangebox to css. My server was working just fine untill yesterday with srcds_l/css/cstrike/addons. My question is does it make a difference to Counter-Strike Source if a plug-in wants to extract to: server/orangebox/cstrike/addons or server/css/cstrike/addons ?
