That address requires a password.
So I doubt it is the correct url you are using.

No idea, don't use dropbox.
But you need a url that does not require a password, and has a "normal" folder structure in the url.

lolz, forget all the crap technology out in the world in last 5 years: cloud, file uploaders, and rest useless crap.
you just need a simple http server which exists for 30 years, stop reinventing a wheel.

Keep reinventing the wheel! Id rather explain to a customer how to drag a file to drop box than installing an http server and uploading their files via another protocol...
However for srcds and fast download redirects. You're going to need an http server.
