Any good ddos prevent plugins?

Well i tried the sourceop one but seems like they just make the attacks weaker which is okay but i want a plugin or addon to like prevent ddos from happening, anyway on doing it? My host said it costs ALOT of money for ddos protection so that won't be happening.

After i sent this, im actually getting hit right now. It's getting bad and i have 2 host and both of them are getting attacked on my servers. It's pretty bad. Any plugins to prevent this? My host said you have to set the convar global queries to 1 or 0 and i tried that and it gets rid of the lag but it's not on the server browser(which i hate).
Please tell me if there is a solution to it without changing ip's(i done that 5 times in 1 year from ddos attacks).
btw the lag spikes are horrible, 10 second lag spikes every 5 seconds. That's the attack. A flood attack.

Against a real DDos there is only one thing: A hardware firewall.

For your wallets sake I hope you are getting hit by some exploits.
