Hey srcds i just bought a server from http://www.SpeedGaming.pro . But nobody can join at friends or the server browser. They have to get the connect cmd. Can i do something? AND ITS A FFA SERVER

Ask your server provider for support? They will have a way better idea of what could be wrong.

They just told me that they are waiting for steam to help them but i think it has been like that in a long time...

And i got 3 css servers and a mumble server from there and they are not cheap

Hmmmm normally steam support is useless to be honest.

But then again, never had a server that would not show up on the server list.

What happens if you try and run "heartbeat" via the console/rcon?

This seems like an issue with your provider.
I would recommend contacting them.

However, posting your server.cfg would also help.

Server.cfg is at the top now (post #1). One of my friends told me they are using the old srcds version, can that be right?

Doubtful, if they where you would not be able to use the connect command and join the server.

You should probably change your rcon password...

This happens due to them using a few ips for each dedicated box,


lets say the "main" ip is 1.1.1.1:27015

They have 1.1.1.x up to lets say 10, well , they are starting the server with 1.1.1.10:27015 and when you join, your friends can't join from steam friends and if they look at the server info its "blocked"



How to fix it? not sure

Servers are good enough to handle few ethernet configs in same time. For instance I use several IP's on each machine too, and it didn't cause me any trouble yet

Never had this problem with SpeedGaming. Ask their support as already mentioned.
