Hi, I'm having a problem with my dedicated server I just installed on a 64-bit Centos OS.
The server crashes mysteriously, no error logs in / logs and error logs in amxmodx. They might be attacking the server? we have the server on a switch and firewall.
I'm noticing that the slots are filled quickly and then the server goes down, you can block such users or false attacks denial of service attacks with some plugins?

For srcds there are plugins to block such attacks, maybe there are similar ones for hlds (in amxmodx)?
But, more likely it's just some plugin that makes trouble. Try disabling them all and see if the problem is still there. If not, re-enable the plugins one by one (especially every amxmodx plugin by itself), until the problem reappears. That way you can find your broken plugin.
It is also possible that you just have too many plugins. If you run your server with many amx-plugins, try disabling some of them...

The server is not CSS, CS 1.6 STEAM is, by default install amxx and metamod.
Amxx Disabling the problem persists, find no error in the logs, it's very rare that that happens.
The Server is one of their own, which is used to play with co-workers.
It is a good team, I5 processor 2.8 GH / 16 GB of RAM and have a good upload speed exceeds 50 MB, plus we have Switch and Firewall.
Not know what else to do or why I came to check on the subject specialists.
You can block this attack? or try installing another server with another IP?

I don't know the actual name, but there is some kind of protecting plugin for hlds. Maybe someone else does remember the name? Or try googling for hlds DoS protection or shielding or so...

Thank you for responding, I was looking for from about two in the afternoon until nine at night and found nothing.
Can anyone tell me where I can download the file. So to counter the attacks.

I had read about the plugin, but does not support Linux-based operating systems 64-bit, currently I am using Centos 5.7 of 64 bits.
