What is best kernal for srcds (CSS) in ubuntu?

Here is my currently kernal.


Linux sonaki-desktop 2.6.32-35-generic-pae #78-Ubuntu SMP Tue Oct 11 17:01:12 UTC 2011 i686 GNU/Linux

Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

usually, 64 bit is better then 32 bit (you have 32 bit). and the most recent (stable) kernel versions are also typically best. you could try using e.g. the zen patches, see the wiki linked in my signature how to do that. there are also other possibilities to optimize the system, not only the kernel. that is also described in the wiki.
