Rank?

in my server the rank system is based on kill to death ratio. I think this is dumb because most people that get in the server and kill like 30 people and like have like 3 deaths are like in first place when people that play in the server every day and have like 1000 some kills and like 500 deaths or so are like in 50 something on the server so i was trying to change this so that the rank would be set to how many kills you have. Im using mani mod btw. But after i changed the setting its still set for ktdr. Any idea's on how to get this working right? Thank in advance.

you changed the setting in the mani_server.cfg file? if you did that and its not working, then you probly don't have it set to execute the mani config in your server.cfg file. add the line "exec mani_server.cfg" in your server.cfg file, that way it will execute the mani config. and it should work after that, if you did in fact change the cvar in the mani_server file.

What if Cortex doesnt let me edit the server.cfg could i put it in game.cfg? Ive tried everything to edit server.cfg with no luck.

if i remember right cortex would let you add additional cvars to the server.cfg in the panel itself.

game.cfg might work, also try the autoexec.cfg

game.cfg worked! Thank you so much heh, this also fixed alot of other problems i was having with the server. Im still a noob at this lol. Thank you again!
