TF2 server crash
#1
Hello, first time poster here.

I host a TF2 deathmatch server, and every couple of hours the server crashes, and I'm told that SRCDS has stopped working. It should be noted that I also host another TF2 server, which has no such problem.

Server OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i3 540, dual core, 3.06 GHz
Ram: 2 GB
Game(s): TF2
Start Up Command: -console -game tf -hostport 27016 +maxplayers 24 +map dm_duel_v1
Admin Mods: SourceMod

INSTALLING INFO
Full Install Command: -command update -game tf -dir "c:\HLServer 2"

Even vanilla servers (with 0 mods) do crash from time to time, but each couple of hours is way too much.

You should search for a problem in modifications you've got, SM is stable, focus on custom plugins you got with SM or other extensions.

Also you can run some debugger which will give you more information (requires advanced skills in computers though)

Sorry for the delay.

It's been over a week now, and I've noticed there's a clear pattern. The server only seems to crash when it's either empty, or there are very few players on. I haven't encountered a single crash when the server had more than 5 players on.

I don't use any plugins except for the SourceMod default ones.

Any ideas on what might've caused this?
