Can you really change the RCON PORT of a server?

For , example lets say that your server port is 27015.

Can you use 27016 to work with the rcon, and also use the {IP}:27016 with HLSW?

yes you will need to set -port 27016 in launch options.

qu23, I think you are misleading him to change server port to 27016.
back to the topic: Do you want it to change because someone bruteforces rcon? I am not sure if it's possible to change rcon port. But you can forward ports with firewall on the server.

Yes, exactly , this is the case, I am getting attacked by rcon spammers.
And I want to use a different port for the rcon features , just for seeing the server at HLSW.

This was my attempt of using HLSW , even though RCON port changed in a way. That doesn't count for me anymore , fyi.

It is a pity , you can't play with HLSW , when the rcon port of your server has changed anyway, or is there a solution?

Lol, I feel embarrassed, didn't notice it was you who posted.
I have no idea, many people have issue with rcon bruteforce, there are better solutions: have rcon 16 or more symbols, use advantages of firewalls, etc.

If you have rcon bruteforce install Sourcemod + Metamod and then install this plugin Rcon locker / exploit fix
Since i install this on our servers we have no rcon bruteforce on our servers anymore
