Allow Players to change map

Is there a way to allow players connected to a TF2 server to change the map? In order words, allow them to execute the changelevel command?

When you setup a server, in your server.cfg file, there is a convar called "rcon_password". If you set this to something easy, say 123, and then you use SourceMod (find a tutorial) and add an advertisement with like uh, "To changelevel, type "rcon_password 123" in console and do changelevel map". Or, you can use sourcemod to create a plugin which gives all players admflag_z (stands for root, dvs, all commands-access) and then they just do !map map in chat.

wow wait what why would you want to give out ur rcon_password :/ that you dont want to do,

just install SourceMod and give them admin powers if they ur friends or just set the RTV to work in server

Uhm... As i said. Make a sourcemod plugin who gives the changelevel flag to all players, i do not see why you would do that anyways.

No problem. I'd recommend the AlliedModders forums for help in the scripting bit, the most secure would be the sourcemod script which gives everyone the !map command.

Just install sourcemod and just override the changemap command. Better yet just enable the rtv/nominate plugins that are shipped with sourcemod. Giving out rcon is stupid.

Dude, i was only saying one thing HE COULD DO. That doesnt necessarily mean that he should. And for your information, i also gave the guy GOOD information on another how-he-could-do-it thing, with SourceMod. And for the "zeh trollmastha" title, check my reputation and my post, does it look like i am a troll who only trolls and doesn't help?

You told him to go and make a Sourcemod plugin when there's already plugins that do what he's asking shipped with Sourcemod. So I don't see how that would help him when I'm pretty sure he doesn't know how to make one.
