A vps is a "virtual private server". It's kind off a dedicated server, but you're sharing the resources along with alot of other people. A lot of computers hosted on one big computer, if i should say it that way.

I reinstalled the whole ***ing steam and srcds and now I have a tier0.dll error , i cant belive this.

Unfortunately, I have no definite fix. I have, however, found that just looking through the server configuration files and making *cough* minor changes *cough* seems to help. I may be a bit of a tech guy, but having no experience in running a server, getting the error my first few times running the server, then making changes in some files, really seems to work. Don't do anything too drastic, like changing any lua codes. Simple changes in files like server.cfg in your C:\SRCDS\orangebox\garrysmod\cfg directory may work. This directory is, of course, for Garrys Mod servers, but my theory is that is will work, all the same. I'll look for more files that I may have changed, and provide the changes, but ATM, I can only remember server.cfg

by the time i bought a totaly new pc i have 600 fps ingame and I reisntalled win7, steam, srcds, redownlaoded etc... and now my console says public ip: 86.101.39.52 BUT the steam service start fails AGAIN and its still LAN
