Okay I have all the system requirments but I do have a few questions about bandwidth rates!.
I right now have at best 20 mb download and 5 upload but I need to know what kind of bandwidth rate I need to run 3 css servers
Css miigame-24 person server
Css reg de_dust2-32 person server
Css deathmatch-32 person server
And 2 garrysmod servers
Gmod dark rp-24 person server
Gmod truble in terriost town- 32 person server
And I plan on ading more in the future but I need help figuring out how to get bandwidth rates.

Just forget it. You can't hold more than 10 - 24 players without lag on that connection.

no more than one 28 player server, and thats if the connection is not being used for ANYTHING but that one server. 5mbps per server is a good figure

my surf dm server from 3 months ago used to run on a 3.60 mbit upload speed line and at 20 players it started to lag a little, not that much and playable but it would lag. Now i have 10 mbps upload with 24 maxplayers and it runs perfectly.
My specs for the machine server was running on was:
processor: intel core 2 duo E4500 @ 2.20 ghz
ram: 1 gb(500 mbs available)
line: 4 mbps(but was also shared with me and my family so may have been less)
but if u really did wanna host that many slots on that line, heres the rates:
Code:
sv_minrate 0
sv_maxrate 4340
sv_minupdaterate 4
sv_maxupdaterate 14
thats not good rates at all but if u wanna take a shot at it u can.
If you are wireless since it sounds like a home line like my server has then ur out of luck. My server is plugged into my router so i am okay. Wireless = bad. Also if you or anyone in the place u live with that uses your connection, try to make sure they don't take out alot of upload speed. Well again good luck!

Alrght ill try setting up it up with those rates and hooking it up to the router it self.
But when I do that my upload will be 10 mbit will tht help with raising my max rate?.
My specs are
Intel core i7 3.02 ghz (overclocked)
8 gb ram optional 16 gb ram
With 40 mb down and 10 upload

It'll help. No idea however, try:
Code:

sv_maxcmdrate 66
sv_mincmdrate 33
sv_minupdaterate 33
sv_maxupdaterate 66

Ok asive ben reading a lot I have read that downloading all the maps, sounds, etc.. on a sv_downloadurl then it would take les bandwidth so how much bandwidth would I need for the vocie chat and actual game play?. I have unmetered bandwidth on my sv_downloadurl but what do I need for the actual servers

my surf dm server is hosted at my house. and i download/upload alot and i only have 250 gb's upload bandwidth and i haven't even came close near hitting it. So i would say its low but can't give a close answer.
