Is this a good processor to host SRCDS? Just for moment we run a Q9650 But will have a newer one?

Well ideally you'll want as high of a GHz as you can with SCRDS since its a single core application and as long as you stay with newer technology the better you'll be.

Yes, that's perfectly fine. I host 3 servers on a Q9300 with 4GB RAM.

It will hold about 3 24 slot servers on each core. It's a beast.
