Lowering FPS, reducing tickrate - will it have any effect's in-game?

hm... maybe a zen kernel would be better, but I don't know...
how big is your server load? (as shown with uptime) I could imagine, if all that did not help, that your cpu is simply too slow... so maybe your original idea of fps_max 33 would be a good idea after all...

looks good... maybe too good... but that can be some kind of artefact, cpu usage and load are a bit problematic quantities...

I know. I believe that reading must be wrong. But like, what else can I try? It does not lag when there's less than 10 players on each server, so could it be that the server is doing some Cool'n'Quet clockdown then? And then it clocks it up to 2.4GHz again?

What about the frequency thing in the startup? If i set that to disabled, i read that someone did it and the choke and stuttering stopped.

Did you compile your own kernel? In that case you should have switched off all cpu (and memory) power savings...
