Internet on computer completely not working
#1
Earlier, I was trying to setup a server for me and my friends using source dedicated server(we just set it up then used hamachi to connect). It worked perfectly fine and we were playing lag free so I alt tabbed to look at a website and I realized I couldn't get on any websites. Google chrome gave me a DNS error occasionally and mostly just infinitely loading websites.. I cannot get on steam either, something about my connection. I am still having the problem after multiple restarts

Sounds like Hamachi may be causing your issues from what it sounds like. But that's just taking a wild guess.

Thing is, I always have hamachi up. This has never happened before. Also after trying on my computer again after restarting, it seems like all my bandwidth is taken up, not my internet being completely killed. I can barely, partially load web pages but I can't connect to steam at all. It should be noted it's still incredibly slow on this computer when it shouldn't be. And I don't have source dedicated server running anywhere, this happened after starting up a server on source dedicated server and continued after stopping it.

Look inside of Windows Performance Monitoring ... see what kind of bandwidth is being used on your PC ... that will also show CPU and all that.

When looking at that, I'm seeing my network randomly spike really high.
I keep forgetting to mention this, but it's only my computer having this problem. No one else on my network has this problem. Google chrome gives me an Oops! / The server at x can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed.
This didn't happen until after I started a server with srcds, so that's why I'm assuming it's related to the error.

What are these crazy DNS servers?
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
192.168.7.254

EDIT: These are OpenDNS
Hmm, I never use open DNS. I always use Google's 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Perhaps this is your issue?

Friend recommended OpenDNS, I tried google's and had the same problem, no change.

Ohm, judging by your network connection-list I'd suggest that you completely screwed up your network settings. You have not only Hamachi installed, but also another software which is using kind of the same technique. The naming of the connections is not accurate, so this is not the first time, you're screwing with that kind of stuff.

Possible strategies to a solution:

-deactivate unused network connections such as the Hamachi one and the other virtual device
-deinstall at least one of the programs
-system recovery back to a working point

Tried all those, besides deinstalling the programs because im not sure what to uninstall. I really can't think of what to uninstall, and when i restored to a working point nothing changed.
