If there isnt a root password, type "sudo passwd root" and enter a password, then you use "su". Have fun.
Yeah, I figured it out, I thought sudo(superuser do) should have done the job, but I guess not. But still the timing was way off, so I gave up and moved the server to a more powerful serverstation (Should have done this long ago, I know), and will only use this one as a Minecraft host now.
