(Previous problem solved) I got a different problem. When it's going to install it only says:
Checking bootstrapper version ...
Updating Installation
But nothing happens at all. I tried -verify_all btw.

Sure has been taking a tad longer than usual. Have any of you guys been experience really, really, really slow DL's from various servers across steams network.

I traced the IPs, and my box is connecting to Valve's Content servers at level3 chicago and level 3 newyork. Newyork is a tad faster than chicago but still pretty slow.

And connecting to steam LA off my home connection 50megs, downloading a game off steam gives me 200KB/s - 1.1MB/s mostly around 300-500ish KB/s :/

I'd say its just all the people downloading the free to play TF2 now sucking up all their bandwidth.
