SRCDS TV PROXY QUESTION??

Hey guys, can you answer my question please??

I am new with the setup of a TV relay proxy. Does this proxy take the settings from the master tv? Or i have to configure them from the server.cfg of the tv proxy server???


Also, in one match, my friends said to me that after 18 players at the source tv relay server, their tv lagged like hell!!!! what kind of rates i have to set? And where? server.cfg of the server proxy or at server.cfg of the war game server?

It should clear up most of your questions. And as for it lagging, are you hosting your server out of your home connection or is it in a datacenter?

I have already read this article , because there were the instructions I followed in order to setup this proxy thing. But, nowhere are mentioned WHERE to put the settings of the proxy , I mean do I need to put them at the server.cfg of the private gameserver or proxy server?

Also, I have to make it clear that the private gameserver, with the sourcetv master, is hosted in a technical education school in Athens, Greece, with 100 Mbps up/down bandwidth and the proxy server is hosted in a root in Germany, i don't know exactly the bandwidth but I suggest is high.

So, do i have to tweak tv_maxrate and tv_snapshotrate ? I have set them 0 and 24 , esl settings, do I need , for example, more snapshotrate for more tv clients? Or tv_maxrate?
