The story is it's not showing up in LAN or Internet for me, but it is showing up in HLSW, though not in GameTiger. I can connect and play on HLSW, but a friend of mine "Couldn't find it on internet" Though she may not have looked really well. It should at least show up on LAN, right? Right? Thanks for your time.

When you are looking up the server in HLSW, are you using the internal or external address?

Also, i would recommend you to use the +ip argument, so the server will be bound to the address that you want to run it on.

The recent TF2 update has caused a lot of issues. I would wait for another update.

Which router are you using?

Hi there, I was just about to post a similar topic.

BASIC INFO

Server OS: Win 7 32
Processor: AMD 3800+ X2
Ram: 2 GB
Game(s):TF2
srcds.exe -game tf -console -port 27015 +maxplayers 24 +exec server.cfg +map ctf_2fort

NETWORK AND BANDWIDTH INFO

Bandwidth: 60mpbs/11mpbs
Router: WNR1000 wired
Local IP of Server: 192.168.1.137
External IP: 98.193.120.242

HLSW does NOT see my server - niether my local or public IP. TF2 does NOT see my LAN nor does it show on the master server's list. However, I can connect using my local or public IP. My brother can connect as well.

This server?
http://wwwlol.gametracker.com/server_info/98.193.120.242:27015/

It's full, congratulations. ^^
Other people can see it on the masterlist and can join. That your brother and you have difficulties seeing the server on the same subnet is because your nat-loopback doesn't work. Try to find the setting in the router and adjust them.

EDIT: According to this link http://forums.anandtech.com/archive/index.php/t-2020553.html your router doesn't support wan-nat-loopback. I had the same problem with my dlink dir-825. However, it seems that you can flash openwrt on your router which is an alternate firmware that allows you to set loopback-settings and much much other stuff.
http://patchwork.openwrt.org/patch/107/

You should register on the openwrt-forums and ask in the "General Discussion" section if your router is supported and if so, which image you have to use. (Also tell them if you have v1 or v2 of the router).

If your OpenWrt doesn't support your router and it won't in near future, I can recommend you to buy the D-Link DIR825 and flash OpenWrt on it, because the dir825 has really really powerful hardware and OpenWrt offers a lot of upgrades and plugins for it which you can install and run on the router (torrent-client, qos, etc.). I could then help you with flashing and the configuration.

EDIT:
But you should first try to update your current router firmware because I read that they fixed this issue for several routers.
Depending on which version your router is:

A LAN is a type of computer network that uses a common communications medium such as a hardwired cabling structure, telephone lines, radio waves or a personal computer telephone line to connect various personal computers and other devices together. I can say that at rv extended warranty reviews and learn more new things for warranty issue. These networks are typically limited to less than 10 km. In contrast, the Internet is an interconnection computer network which connects millions of devices worldwide over long distances using leased telephone lines, private networks and wireless LANs.
