How can I setup my SRCDS CSS server for fast download, free? What website can host the svdownload service for free and how do I set it up? Please help me.

I have absolutely no idea honestly. I'm not using it anymore tho. I think they quit buisness after they somehow ereased a node.

Well, why don't you host one yourself? Simply open the port 80, download a program named "XAMPP (lamp if on linux) and place all the files in c:\xampp\htdocs\cstrike/tf2/dods etc...

ok i installed xxamp and opened the port but i dont exactly understand what to do now.

Like, browse to the c:\ drive in Windows Explorer. In there you go to xampp, and then to htdocs. Make a folder with the gamename you are running, eg. for css it would be cstrike, and inside that folder you make the folders like maps, sounds, etc.. And then you just place the maps there.

and then when people join my server they download the .bz2 version of the map? i dont understand (btw ty so much for responding fast and helping a noob out)

If you have a compressed version of the map (.bz2) it will download that first, otherwise, it will download the raw file.
