i cant update team fortress 2

i have a server of TF, works fine but i dont know how update the server.

i tiped in cmd:

hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game tf -dir .

i have installed the TF in the same directory.

but to the moment of run with this commands, says:

Checking bootstrapper version ...
Updating Installation

And dont update anything.

sorry for my english, is very bad.

Have you tried specifying the -dir directly instead of relative?

im deleted clientregistry.blob and installrecord.blob

and tried to re-install with this command:

hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game tf -dir D:\hldsupdatetool

(the previous installation are located at D:\hldsupdatetool and in this folder are located /orangebox and hl2)

but says: no installation record :S

I'm going back and looking at old threads they say just be patient and see if it installs, they say wait a few hours and see if it ever does anything. Maybe that will help for you? Good luck!
