Made myself a server using "old" computer parts
#1
AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.4GHz (oc'ed)
Gigabyte something motherboard (i don't remember the exact name, but it's AM3)
Corsair Dominator DHX+ 4GB 1333Mhz
Corsair SSD Force Series F115

How many servers/slots can i run on this? Not looking for a exact number, just close enough :p

Please do not PM me for server related help

Define "large" and "small"? :p

I agree, I would not overclock a server, however if you can keep it stable, go for it. For the players, you should be fine with roughly 100-120 slots.

It's 100 percent stable atm. It's been running Prime95 for uh.. 2 weeks now. It's been keeping my room warm :p

Edit: Should i run Windows or Linux on it? I can't decide.. I seem to be getting better/more stable fps from a windows installation than a Debian one.. Using zen patches found on "ulrich-block.de"
